Archives and Unpublished Materials

As important as published materials are, the documents that best demonstrate how an organization operates are the archives and unpublished materials. These documents show the thought process of an individual, how the events were dealt with and how they changed the course of an organization or a person's life.

Within the NEJL are the archives of organizations as well as manuscript collections of individuals. These collections are usually made up of, but are not limited to, correspondence, memoranda, organization records, historically significant documents, photographs, and other memorabilia that document the day to day activities of an organization's or person's life span.

Eventually, finding aids, which are guides to the collection, will be part of this website and cataloging information will be available in the Washington College of Law on-line catalog.
